The exhibition is supported by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The exposition includes the rich documentary presenting the churches and monasteries of the Meddle and Late Middle Ages on the territory of Bulgaria and Macedonia. The materials have been collected during the work on two projects led by Prof. Aksinia Dzhurova and the research team Kalina Mincheva and Svetozar Angelov, Centre for Slavo-Byzantine Studies “Prof. Ivan Dujčev”. The projects were funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sciences and Sofia University.
