The scientific programme consists of three interrelated events: a grand international scientific conference on Sofia University future, a strategy for development of the scientific research at Sofia University, and a bestowing of the Sofia University Grand Scientific Award. The goal is to highlight the leading role of Sofia University in the research field and to establish public acknowledgment of scientific achievements.
From 23 to 25 November, Aula, New Conference Hall, Hall 1
The International Conference is devoted to the higher education of the 21st century and the new socio-cultural realities: globalization, new technologies, mobility of people and ideas.
The concept of the conference is published, its programme is to be published separately.
2. Strategy for development of the scientific research at Sofia University is being developed by a team under the supervision of Prof. Nedyu Popivanov, Vice-Rector. It will be commented on during the round table discussions within the conference programme (23th November, 17:00 – 19:00, New Conference Hall).
3. Sofia University Grand Scientific Award will be bestowed by the Rector on 24th November, 12:00, Aula, after the conference plenary sessions.
